The BakerMama has been a familiar face at the Local Moms Network season after season. Her innovative spins on traditional dishes (remember that Baked Potato Bar?) have graced our pages for years. In the spirit of back-to-school season, we’re sharing her healthy and playful After School Snack Board.

Maegan loves this board because “it’s a fun and easy way to please everyone, with minimal cooking required.” Her go-to ingredients consist of fruits, veggies, energy balls and crackers. “It’s a great way to offer a variety of snacks so kids can learn to balance healthy fruits and vegetables with treats like cookies and candies. It’s also a wonderful way to get the kids involved and entertain them as you build the board together,” she says.

To prep the After School Snack Board in advance, leave any crunchy crackers, nuts, cookies and chips off of the board so they don’t get soggy. Then cover the board in plastic wrap and place it in the refrigerator. Once you’re ready to serve, just add the remaining snacks!
