Exceptional Wednesdays @ Golisano Children’s Museum of Naples

Beginning February 4, CMON will now be open on Wednesdays with a gentle, sensory-friendly approach called Exceptional Wednesdays, held weekly from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. No special ticket is required for Exceptional Wednesdays; it will be included with general admission and complimentary for all members.

These hours are especially supportive for families with children who have physical or neurological disabilities, including Autism and sensory processing differences.

During these hours, the museum environment is adjusted to reduce sensory stimulation. Lighting and sound levels are lowered, music is turned off, crowds are lighter, and designated calm/down spaces are available throughout the museum so children can explore, play, and learn at their own pace.
