Yes! I am the Owner of Dance Arts by Maria. We offer classes in various styles for ages 18months through 18 years. Our passion is instilling a love of dance to all children, and our goal is to do so while supporting our community and families.
When did you decide you wanted to open your own dance studio?
Once realizing that Naples was going to be my forever home.
Has dance always been a part of your life?
Yes, I fell in love with the art form as a young child
What do you recommend for parents looking to get their child started with dance?
Find a studio where you and your child are comfortable. Look at the older dancers – are they excited to be dancing? Is it a place your child can grow? And most importantly don’t push them, if they’re not ready it’s okay to step back and try again at a later date. If they enjoy it they will want to continue.
If you could give one tip to fellow Mom Entrepreneurs what would it be?
Business ownership is amazingly fulfilling but extremely difficult. Give it your all!!
