What sparked your interest in a Dental Medical Career?
I have always been passionate about maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Building good oral health habits starts at a young age, and so I naturally took a liking to pediatric dentistry as it provides the opportunity to educate children within the community. I am committed to raising the standard in children’s oral health care by providing expert care to my patients.
When did The Children’s Dentistry of Naples open?
I have been proudly serving our community since June of 1995.
What services do you offer for your pediatric patients?
We offer diagnostic and preventative services including cleanings, examinations, and sealants. Restorative services are done with N2O including fillings, crowns, and space maintainers. Additionally, we have Dr. Kelly Harris who provides on-site orthodontic care twice a week which makes for a seamless transition for patients. Dr. Kelly also treats adults as well and sees many patient’s parents!
What sets you apart from other dental practices?
My experienced assistants also excel at and enjoy caring for patients with special needs, and we are always readily available to treat emergency patients!
What do you love most about living in the Naples area?
My wife and I very much enjoy the coastal lifestyle and boating frequently. I regularly attend events supporting local charities and businesses and meeting people from different walks of life.
What do you recommend for someone looking to get started?
Dentistry is both creative and analytic, and is a career in which you truly impact patient’s lives on a daily basis. I would recommend spending as much time as possible in dental offices and experiencing all of the different specialties to find your niche within the industry. Finding a mentor that encourages and inspires you is essential to the journey!
